Be&#8217;s Daniel Switkin has hacked the default Pulse utility to include color preferences for the regular app, the standard Replicant version, and the Deskbar replicant version. <a href=\"http:\/\/www-classic.be.com\/aboutbe\/benewsletter\/volume_III\/Issue33.html#Wo rkshop\">This newsletter article<\/a> tells the whole story, and includes <a href=\"ftp:\/\/ftp.be.com\/pub\/samples\/application_kit\/Pulse.zip\">a link<\/a> to a new version of Pulse you can compile in the BeIDE (open the .proj file for your platform and pull down Project | Make, or tap Alt+M).<br \/>\nWhen the build is complete, you can replace the version of Pulse in <code>\/boot\/beos\/apps<\/code> with the new one.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/422.Pulse.jpg\" width=405 height=323 alt=\"422.Pulse\"><br \/>\nInitially, the interface won&#8217;t look any different.
